Smart Grid for All
The Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology at Illinois State University has designed and implemented a Smart Grid for Schools program, which has recently expanded to become Smart Grid for All. We offer K-12 students the opportunity to learn about the smart grid through hands-on interactives, but we are also making interactives available digitally! While K-12 students will continue to be an important part of our audience, even adults have expressed an appreciation for our digital tools.
As utility companies in Illinois complete the roll-out of smart meters and other smart technologies, now is the perfect time to learn about the smart grid!

Available Tools
Virtual tools are freely available to all, while hands-on materials may be reserved from our partner sites at no cost to Illinois educators.
